Win Coaching at the XC Development Series

As part of his continuing support of the XC Development race series, Niall Davis from Biking.ie will be taking two groups of five riders out for a pre-lap (or part thereof, due to the length of the lap) of the Ballyhoura race circuit on the morning of the race. The aim of the pre-lap is to help the riders get through their first race with some hints and tips.

The prizes go to the first 10 riders to contact him via the form on www.biking.ie. And don’t forget there is also a prize for the winner of the Sports B race to come take a private training day with Biking.ie!

Training days with Niall Davis & Tarja Owens

It’s not every day you get private coaching from a World Cup level cross country and downhill rider but with Niall Davis’ training days you can.
Niall is a top three Irish international cross country rider who has spent the last summer running guided rides with partner Tarja Owens (herself a World Cup level female former pro and multiple Irish national champion) in picturesque Lake Garda.
Their company, All Mountain Experience has been a huge success and Niall and Tarja have decided to share their knowledge by running training courses in the Winter season in Ireland.

Courses are run every weekend at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels with a maximum group of 8 for the first two groups and 4 for the advanced class.
The emphasis is on fun, this is not school after all but rather it is about furthering your confidence and skills on a mountain bike.
See posters below for details or email Niall or Tarja for details.

Kids MTB Intro Course Part 2

Another fun session for the parents and kids as they zipped their way around the Ballinastoe trails on the 2nd kids-intro to MTB course. By all accounts, the young at heart and the slower oldies had a great time.
Big thanks to Richie Byrne from EPIC for organising and running the series – as well as the other riders and parents who helped him!
